Singaraja – The Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha, through the Quality Control Group (GKM) held an Evaluation and Dissemination of Quality Assurance for the Faculty of Education which took place in the Undiksha FIP Seminar Room, Tuesday (13/12/2022) morning. The Secretary of Undiksha Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LPPPM), Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata, S.Pd., M.Kes was warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Department Head of Elementary Education Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., and the Department Secretary of Education who is also the Chairperson of the Undiksha FIP GKM, Dr. I Gede Astawan, S.Pd., M.Pd.
In his remarks, Dr. Lanang Parwata who represented Undiksha Vice Rector I, Dr. I Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., appreciated the performance of the Undiksha FIP Quality Control Group. He hopes that this activity will continue and even be developed. He also conveyed that the leaders always supports all programs that can improve the quality of the faculty.
“The implementation of quality assurance at FIP is really well implemented, and this is what other faculties at Undiksha should emulate. In the future, this thing really needs to be continued so that faculties and institutions can continue to work together, and we will facilitate that,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the GKM FIP Undiksha, Dr. I Gede Astawan explained a number of programs that were successfully achieved in 1 year which were related to the quality assurance of education implementation at FIP Undiksha.
“We have run several programs which are related to 9 criteria for national accreditation, AQAS international accreditation. Apart from that, we have also carried out monitoring and evaluation of LAMDIK accreditation,” said Astawan.
Furthermore, he invites all educators to continue to work together in order to optimize the achievement of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. He is optimistic that he will be able to achieve the set targets, especially increasing the Tri Dharma (Three Pillars) of Higher Education, both in terms of quality and quantity.
