Tuesday (1/12/2020) PGPAUD FIP Undiksha held a joint lecture with the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), which presented lecture material on Play and Games. This lecture was attended by PGPAUD FIP Undiksha Semester III students.
This lecture was delivered by Gilar Gandana, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is a UPI PGPAUD Lecturer. Even though this lecture was conducted online, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of PGPAUD FIP Undiksha students to attend the lecture. “I am very happy to receive lectures from external lecturers because it can add a lot of new insights that can later be applied,” said Mira Pradnyaswari, one of the PGPAUD FIP Undiksha students.
Gilar Gandana delivered material regarding the elements of education, namely guiding, teaching, and training. “A successful teacher is a teacher who can make his students not want to go home from school and not want to finish lessons quickly,” concluded the UPI lecturer. Teachers today are expected to not only teach but educate.
Coordinator of PG PAUD FIP Undiksha stated “This lecture is an implementation of the Independent Campus Curriculum policy. Through this activity, students can study in the same study program, at different universities. Apart from that, it can also broaden the insight of both lecturers and students,” said Putu Rahayu Ujiti, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist.
