Singaraja – Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha once again held the 2022 National Level XVIII Ethics Youth Election (PRB), which was opened at the Undiksha Auditorium Building, on Wednesday (26/10/2022). This prestigious event, organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM), competes for the Bali Governor’s Rotating Cup for the SMA/SMK/MA student category and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) Rotating Cup for the Indonesian Student category.
This activity was attended directly by the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of Department, and Study Program Coordinator within FIP Undiksha.
After the activity, the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., representing the Dean, expressed his appreciation to the organizing committee who had contributed so well in creating a generation of excellence and character.
“This is a very good step, and hopefully in the future, it can continue to be created so that it can attract more participants,” said Aditya.
Furthermore, the Deputy Dean from Medahan Village said that the finalists would later join the Budipekerti Youth Alumni Forum with various work program designs as a form of real contribution to society.
“We hope that the finalists who join this association can become Budipekerti agents in society,” concluded Aditya.
Meanwhile, Committee Chair Ni Made Risda Kusnari Jayanti explained that this year 111 participants registered, with 89 people from the student category and 22 people from the student category. Furthermore, Risda, his nickname, said that to be at this stage, participants had to go through several stages.
“Before reaching the top 20 stage, participants take part in an administrative selection, portfolio selection, and a written personality test,” said Risda.
It was further stated that before entering the Grand Final stage, the finalists will undergo several rounds of quarantine, before appearing at the Grand Final night, which will be held on 28 October.
“Finalists will take part in a series of activities, including national seminars, personality interviews, talent interest displays, workshops, and resilience training as well as self-management & self-confidence, social service and outbound,” he added.
Chair of BEM FIP, Ni Putu Putri Budiastini hopes that this national-level event will be followed by real action, both from the finalists, the committee, and even the entire FIP Undiksha academic community.
“Fill the word good character with activities that are beneficial to society,” he said.
For information, students from the Faculty of Education on behalf of Ni Luh Puspa Pratiwi, I Gusti Komang Angga Putra Widiarta, and Putu Wulan Libriani from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) also participated in this year’s PRB event. (hms Dewa Nida)
