Singaraja – FIP Undiksha Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) again received a partner visit. This time it was from the PGSD FKIP Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) which took place at the Undiksha Auditorium Building, Friday (01/06/2023) morning. The visit was in the framework of a Study Excursie at the PGSD FIP Undiksha Study Program. The arrival of the UMM group of 182 students and 8 lecturers was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, M.Pd., accompanied by the Head of the Department of Basic Education (Pendas) Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., and the PGSD Study Program Coordinator, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd.
After the activity, the Coordinator of the PGSD FIP Undiksha Study Program, Margunayasa said this activity was a follow-up to the collaboration that had existed between FIP Undiksha and FKIP UMM. He further stated that this activity really supports the achievement of the Faculty’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU).
“The point is they study here, after this activity we will continue with student exchange activities, including the activities of our lecturers teaching at UMM and vice versa, yes we will hold it online next semester,” he said.
The same thing was also expressed by the Secretary of PGSD Study Program FKIP UMM, Tyas Deviana, M.Pd. His party said, apart from being a form of fulfilling the KPI, this activity was also followed by benchmarking related to the International Accreditation of the PGSD FIP Undiksha Study Program which will take place in next February. Furthermore, he hopes that in the future this collaboration can be continued and accompanied by concrete actions. “In the future, we would like to carry out further collaborations for both lecturers and students.
More than that, we also want to do benchmarking related to international accreditation applications. I hope this can continue, especially for the fulfillment of MBKM,” said Tyas. (hms Dewa Nida)
