Singaraja– Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) student, Putu Cincin Cindra Dewi from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) succeeded in making her alma mater proud, after winning a gold medal in the women’s singles individual arts category, the 2022 Udayana Chancellor’s Cup Championship held by Udayana University (Unud) on 13-16 October 2022.
On this occasion, the proud athlete of the biggest university in North Bali managed to occupy the top position with a record score of 453 after beating Warmadewa and IPSI Udayana martial artists in the final match last Saturday, October 15. This achievement also made Undiksha the third overall champion at this annual event. The success of this 2002-born martial artist cannot be separated from the results of special training carried out for 1 year. She also conveyed that this event is a momentum to prepare physically and mentally for the upcoming 2022 Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) and National Student Sports Week (POMNas).
“I have carried out training for 1 year ago, as well as preparing for Porprov and POMNas later,” she said.
Furthermore, she, who is familiarly called Cincin, admitted that he was proud of the achievements he had achieved. He hopes that in the Porprov XV/2022 event, he can pocket another gold medal for FIP Undiksha.
“The target for the future, hopefully, we can donate a gold medal to Porprov later,” concluded Cincin.
This achievement received full appreciation from the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd. He hopes that FIP’s achievements can continue to improve both at the national and international levels. To support this, the steps taken are of course providing coaching, mentoring, and preparing funding.
