Badung – Undiksha’s Faculty of Education (FIP) is increasingly establishing itself as a faculty trendsetter in Asia, it would not be an exaggeration to attribute this to the first faculty at the Ganesha University of Education. The reason is that on various occasions, the Faculty of Education always shows its work as a mentor in journal management. This time, FIP Undiksha again shared best practices and assistance in the journal accreditation quarantine event which was organized by the Educational Sciences Forum – Department of Education (FIP JIP) on Saturday – Monday, 22 – 24 October 2022 based at the Bedrock Hotel, Kuta, Bali. On this occasion, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., as well as the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance who is also the Head of the Undiksha Journal Development Center, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., accompanied by the Undiksha FIP journal and publication group team.
In her remarks, the head of the committee, Ni Nyoman Chintya Ari Putri, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that 15 managers from 13 journals participated in this activity, including: 2 Journals from the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) with 2 administrators; 1 Journal from State University of Malang (UM) with 2 administrators; 2 Journals from Jakarta State University (UNJ) with 2 administrators; 1 Journal from the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) with 2 administrators; 2 Journals from Yogyakarta State University (UNY) with 2 administrators; 1 Journal from Makassar State University (UNM) with 1 administrator; 1 Journal from Surabaya State University (Unesa) with 1 administrator; 1 Journal from Semarang State University (Unnes) with 1 administrator; and 2 Journals from Padang State University (UNP) with 2 administrators.
The academic of the PGPAUD FIP Undiksha Study Program said that the event initiated by the FIP JIP Forum aims to improve the quality of journals within the Faculties of Education throughout Indonesia which are members of the FIP JIP Forum. Delivered further, his party hoped that this event would be able to strengthen the ties of cooperation that had been built.
“I hope that through this activity, we can continue to work together, in the framework of managerial improvement and journal accreditation in the future,” said Chintya.
Confirmed, Deputy Dean Wayan Widiana said that this celebration was a concrete step for FIP Undiksha, as a role model for journal management in Indonesia. The same thing was also expressed by the Head of the JIP FIP Forum, Prof. Dr. Fahrurrozi, M.Pd. He considered that this program was the first step taken by the FIP JIP Forum in order to produce indexed journals Sinta 1 and 2. Furthermore, his party hoped that during this quarantine process, FIP Undiksha would be able to transmit its achievements in terms of journal management to FIP JIP LPTK colleagues. throughout Indonesia.
