Singaraja– The Department of Basic Education (Pendas) FIP Undiksha, through the Pendas Department Student Association (HMJ) is holding Harmony Day activities in 2022, the opening of which will be held on Saturday, (20/08/2022) morning, at the Gde Manik Singaraja Arts Building. This activity is a series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at the Department level. On this occasion, the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., accompanied by the Secretary of the Basic Education Department (Pendas), Dr. I Gede Astawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., PGSD Study Program Coordinator, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., Coordinator of the PGPAUD Study Program, Putu Rahayu Ujiti, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist., together with Lecturers in the Pendas Department.
The opening, which carries the theme “Through Harmony Day Activities, Let’s Create Harmony in the Tri Hita Karana to Form Students who are Active, Collaborative, Characteristic and Highly Dedicated towards an Advanced and Harmonious Basic Education Department”, begins with the introduction of lecturers majoring in basic education, Academic socialization of the PGPSD study program by Koopodi PGSD, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., and academic socialization of the PGPAUD study program by the PGPAUD Study Program Coordinator, Putu Rahayu Ujiti, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist., in the morning, then continued with the introduction of HMJ functionaries Pendas and ending with the art performance in the middle of the afternoon, said the chairman of the organizing committee, Komang Yogi Adipranata from the PGSD study program.
In his remarks, the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., proudly welcomed the arrival of new students at the Faculty of Education. He, who represents the Dean of FIP Undiksha, hopes that new students will be able to explore their potential to achieve their vision for the future. It was also said that the presence of these new students is expected to be at the forefront of improving achievement, to realize FIP UndikshaTrendsetter faculty. “New students should be able to forge themselves well and should try to absorb knowledge, to be able to compete in the world of work. “I hope that they will be able to become champions for the excellence of FIP Undiksha, of course by achieving achievements,” he said.
After the activity, the Chair of HMJ Pendas I Made Sukiana from the PGSD study program said that his party and the staff were very enthusiastic about welcoming new students to FIP Undiksha. He further emphasized that this activity was carried out as an effort to build character for new students. “Apart from the aim of introducing the Basic Education Department to new students, we also carry out this activity to shape the students’ character, with the hope that when they study they will have good character and discipline,” he hoped.
For information, this activity will last for 2 days, which will end on Sunday, (21/08/2022) with a series of scientific writing socialization activities with resource person I Made Hendra Sukmayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., followed by a presentation material related to discipline presented by I Kadek Edi Yudiana, S.Pd., M.Pd.(hms Dewa Nida)
