Singaraja– Graduates of the Undiksha Faculty of Education are expected to be able to be at the forefront of improving the quality and quantity of education in Buleleng district. Seeing its very important essence, FIP Undiksha held a Focused Group Discussion, in an effort to overcome learning loss or loss of learning opportunities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as increase the absorption of Faculty of Education graduates in the world of work.
This was also appreciated by the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd. This was conveyed in the Focus Group Discussion, which took place in the FIP Undiksha Seminar Room, Friday 10/12/2021). In the discussion, it was stated that learning loss is a global problem that causes no transformation that teachers can convey to students.
Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd. assessing the absorption of FIP Undiksha graduates in the PGSD Study Program, it is the highest in Buleleng, as well as PAUD, Guidance Counseling and Educational Technology. It is hoped that in the future the graduates will be well absorbed. Furthermore, he appreciated this activity as a form of awareness that there needs to be collaboration between Undiksha and the Regional Government to answer problems that occur in the education sector.

As a form of contribution, the Faculty of Education is expected to be able to supply workforce needs, by producing graduates who are competent in their fields. More than that, the number one person in the Faculty of Education hopes that Undiksha’s presence can help the Regional Government to improve the quality of education delivery in Buleleng Regency.
