The Undiksha Sharing program is currently increasingly popular among students and the general public. Within 5 days, this program could be completed by 29 resource persons and attended by 6,000 participants. This program, which presents scientific and informational content, was officially released in April 2020. So who is the figure behind the formation of this program? He is Dr. I Gde Wawan Sudatha, S.Pd., S.T., M.Pd, lecturer in the Educational Technology Study Program, Undiksha Faculty of Education.
Since April 2020, Wawan has officially been appointed as chairman of the Undiksha Sharing Program committee. Wawan was appointed as chairman of the committee because he currently serves as Head of the Media and Learning Resources Development Center, LPPPM Undiksha. This lecturer who was born in Denpasar explained that before creating this program there were preparations that had to be made. These preparations include the preparation of resource person registration, preparation of the participant registration system, and preparation of the applications used. “So after the speakers are registered, we group them based on their areas of expertise and topics, then registration is opened for participants,” he explained.
Lecturers who teach learning This also mentioned that the Undiksha Sharing Program is a means of sharing knowledge and experience from Undiksha academics with teachers, educators, students, and the wider community. By presenting the latest and interesting topics based on their relevance to the challenging situation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Another thing that motivates this activity is: Open Educational Resources (OER), which in the future will become an open educational learning resource that can be accessed at any time, can be watched at any time, by anyone, and anywhere. Apart from that, Wawan also explained massive online open courses (MOOCs) which is one of the Independent Learning concepts “Later students will also study with MOOCs, so students can study anywhere, anytime, later when they have graduated from one course which students take part in, can be recognized as credits at their respective universities. That is one of the implementations of Merdeka Belajar.”
Regarding the satisfaction of Undiksha Sharing participants, the Secretary of the Department of Education, Psychology and Guidance said that the results of the satisfaction survey that had been carried out stated that the participants were very satisfied, some even proposed increasing the duration of activities in each Undiksha Sharing session. The party also gave awards in the form of e-certificates to resource persons and participants. Finally, Wawan advised that the Undiksha Sharing Program could be utilized as much as possible by the wider community.
