Singaraja – The Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha through the Student Association of Department of Education, Psychology, and Guidance (HMJ IPPB) held a social event entitled “serving with action, moving with the heart” which took place at the Destawan orphanage, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency, as a form of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy, on Sunday (24/07/2022) morning. On this occasion, a number of students associated of HMJ IPPB, handed over assistance in the form of clothing and food, as well as provided painting training for kindergarten (TK) and Elementary School (SD), and the operation of Microsoft Office and Typing skills for students of Junior High School (SMP) and Senior High School (SMA), said Chairman of the Organizing Committee Syifa’ul Fauziyah from the Education Technology (TP) Study Program.Furthermore, he hopes that this activity can continue to grow in the coming year.
“I hope this activity can continue to be improved, so that more and more communities are beneficial,” he said.
To note, the assistance was handed over directly by the vice dean for Students and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., accompanied by the supervisor of Student Affairs, Dewa Gede Agus Putra Prabawa, S.Pd., M.Pd., Chairman of HMJ, Ni Putu Ariasih from Guidance and Counselling (BK) Study Program, and Chairman of the committee, Syifa’ul Fauziyah from Education Technology (TP) Study Program and received directly by the orphanage. This social event received appreciation from the vice dean for Students and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., in his speech he considered this title is a form of implementation of the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana.
“This activity is in line with Undiksha’s vision, hopefully, this event will continue, so that we can learn to plunge into the community, thus the sciences learned can be implemented”, he concluded. (PR. Dewa Nida)
