Singaraja – To improve public service information, the FIP public relations group carries out protocol and reporting training. Protocol and reporting are two important things in an institution. The protocol in question is a series of activities related to the rules in state events or official events which include venue arrangements, ceremonial arrangements, and respect as a form of respect for someone according to their position and/or position in the state, government, and society. Venue procedures, ceremonial procedures, honoring procedures, clothing procedures, welcoming procedures, as well as supportive facial expressions can please the guests at an activity.
The delivery of this protocol material was delivered directly by Dr. Kadek Wirahyuni, M.Pd as lecturer supervising UKM Protocol Undiksha. “I’m honestly very happy to be able to fill in the protocol material at FIP, maybe other faculties also need to hold training like this to create good protocols and follow existing rules,” said the supervisor of the Undiksha Protocol UKM.
Not only protocol, it also relates to news. Reporting is something that is created and conveyed to many audiences in written form. In making news, journalists are needed who have sensitivity, instinct, intelligence, and astuteness, as well as a high level of curiosity. Journalists don’t just wait for information but search and dig deeper into what information is available. This will also reach journalists, aka newsmakers, who will assemble the information into interesting news so that readers are interested in reading it. I Made Adnyana Ole as the resource person emphasize that “journalists must have a high level of curiosity, so they can dig up more information”
This protocol and reporting training activity was held on Monday and Tuesday, 6-7 November 2023, which was held in the Undiksha FIP Seminar Room & Undiksha FIP Study Program Meeting Room. This activity was opened by the Deputy Dean for Finance and General Affairs, FIP Undiksha, Dr. I Komang Sudarma, S.Pd., M.Pd. This training was created under the direction of the Dean of FIP Undiksha Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., chaired by I Wayan Ardana, S.Pd., M.Pd. “On the direction of the Dean of FIP Undiksha, to create protocols and good journalists in the Public Relations group of FIP Undiksha, it is necessary to hold this training activity,” said the committee chairman.
