Mataram – Faculty of Education students (FIP) Undiksha showed their actions again in a national competition. The great achievement came from Scientific Writing Competition (LKTIN) Faperta Fair II which was held by Sentosa Foundation in collaboration with Nadhlatul Wathan University, Mataram on 16-18 July 2022.
In this event, FIP Undiksha team which was consisted of Komang Dewi Widiani as the leader, I Ketut Sukrisnawan as the member of Elementary School Teacher Study Program (PGSD) in the 6th semester, and Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd as the curator, won Gold Medal and Favourite Poster in the field of Law and Economy. At the same time, he also participated in the team which was led by I Kadek Seneng dan I Ketut Mahendra, the member of Stikom Bali, succeeded to win Silver Medal in the field of Social Culture and Tourism.
According to the compiled information, the winner of the gold medal in each field competed for the 1st until the consolation prize winner. With full spirit, persistence, and collaboration, he and the team successfully achieved the 2nd consolation prize winner and this achievement also added champions for the Faculty of Education.
This achievement was also proudly welcomed by the Vice Dean for Students and Alumni Affair, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., who really appreciated this great achievement. He also thought that this achievement really supported Simkatmawa of the faculty and institution. This scholar from Medahan Village also hoped that this achievement could be capital to keep being overachiever in the national even international event.
“We, the leaders, are very proud of the achievement gained by the FIP Undiksha students. This Gold Medal is extraordinary, I hope that the students could keep their fight spirit to be overachievers in the National even international event continuously. Let us keep and increase this achievement so that Simkatmawa of the Faculty of Education keep being great. I also hope that this achievement can be motivation for other students to participate in every competition,” he said.
The invented poster design was the result of creation and feel which was full of meaning by the touch of Balinese culture, that was conveyed by the team leader, Komang Dewi Widiani. She said that she was proud for being able to bring medal for the faculty, because she and the team have prepared the competition so that they could give the best. Widiani concluded that this achievement could be a great capital for participating in the next competition. “Our next target is we keep trying to participate in the same competition or another one to add our experience and knowledge. Besides that, we will develop this product based on suggestions from the judges,” she concluded. (PR Dewa Nida)
