Badung – Penglipuran Village, located in Bangli Regency, Bali, has been designated as the third cleanest village in the world according to the Sustainable Destinations Top 100 version of the Green Destinations Foundation. No doubt its cleanliness is an attraction for local and foreign tourists. This is also of particular concern to the Community Service Student Creativity Program (PKM-PM) Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha. The team, chaired by Ni Kadek Dwi Wahyu Mardani from PGSD Study Program, with members I Made Satria Ari Jaya, I Putu Widiyana Putra, Aprilia Kristina Yudea from PGSD Study Program, and Ni Kadek Devi Kesuma Pratiwi from BK Study Program, is campaigning for the unique side of Penglipuran Tourism destinations as modeling for schoolyard management based on Tri Hita Karana (THK) at SD Negeri 6 Tuban.
To note, the innovation mentored by Drs. I Wayan Sujana, S.Pd., M.Pd., has successfully won PKM-PM funding in 2022, which will then enter the PKM Implementation Progress Assessment (PKP2) stage by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Ristekdikti) on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022.
The team leader, Ni Kadek Dwi Wahyu Mardani, explained that this innovation was motivated by a lack of student awareness in maintaining and caring for the cleanliness of the school environment. Departing from these problems, her party and the team initiated an innovation in the arrangement of the schoolyard by adopting the unique side of the Penglipuran Village tourist destination.
Confirmed, team member I Made Satria Ari Jaya expressed his pride at having succeeded in bringing the good name of the faculty and institution to the national stage. Furthermore, he hopes that this innovation can appear at the prestigious National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) in 2022. Satria Ari Jaya who is now in his 3rd semester also invites all FIP Undiksha students to always hone their potential in order to realize superior FIP Undiksha.
“We hope this service will continue and become a role model for other schools. Dear fellow students, let’s express your creativity by participating in various competitions for the advancement of our beloved faculty,” said Satria.
This dedication was welcomed by the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd. He appreciates the innovation initiated by the FIP Undiksha students, according to him this innovation is very important in order to increase the competitiveness of the faculty both at the national and international levels.
“This innovation really supports the achievement of the vision of the faculty and institution. I am very proud, and we as leaders give appreciation to students and supervisors for their success in achieving this achievement,” he said.
Furthermore, the vice dean from Medahan Village, Gianyar emphasized that FIP ??Undiksha continues to be committed to increasing achievement, by maximizing coaching and mapping student potential.
