Singaraja– Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) students participated in strengthening the 17 KM Women’s Adult Walking Team, in commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, which took place at the Bhuana Patra Sports Center (GOR), Singaraja on Wednesday (10/08 /22). Made Selly Handayani Putri and Kadek Sintya Pratiwi (Danton) from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) with breast number 05, succeeded in making the faculty famous after winning second place, in a competition which was attended by 35 teams from high schools and universities.
This achievement cannot be separated from the results of special training carried out for approximately 1 (one) month. It was confirmed that Kadek Sintya Pratiwi expressed his pride at being able to contribute to overseeing “Srikandi Undiksha” for the second time. “I am very proud, even though the Undiksha team won second place, Undiksha is still the champion in the hearts of the people of Buleleng,” she said.
Made Selly Handayani Putri also expressed the same thing. She, who is familiarly called Selly, admitted that she was very proud to be able to participate in this competition because it can foster a spirit of struggle, a sense of unity and togetherness. He also hopes that the Undiksha Women’s Walking Team will be able to show their best every year. “I am very proud and happy to be able to provide the best for the Faculty and Undiksha, hopefully in the coming year, Undiksha can present its best team and be able to obtain maximum results,” she hoped.
This achievement received appreciation from the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., according to him, the walking competition on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia can foster the spirit of Nationalism and is considered to foster a feeling of love for the Motherland. “We at the leadership appreciate the achievements achieved by FIP Undiksha students, of course, this is a very positive thing, to foster a sense of Nationalism and a spirit of struggle within the students,” he concluded.
