Singaraja – Supporting the achievement of faculty vision i.e. being excellent in Asia based on Tri Hita Karana philosophy, the Student Association of Elementary Education held social care again on Friday morning, May 27th, 2022. It was held at Ananda Seva Dharma Orphanage, Sangsit Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency and was attended by the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd. accompanied by Head of Elementary Education Department, Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd.
The social care which was held in 3 (three) days was ended on Sunday ( May 29th, 2022) by organizing cleaning activities around Penarukan Beach, said the Chairman of the Committee, I Wayan Riski Ananda Putra who was the student of Elementary Education Department. He explained that the social care was filled with socialization about orientation of the Student Association of Elementary Education and Education Literation in which Putu Karisma Pebriyanti and Valentina Dewi Yosoa the student of Elementary Education Department became the speakers
Being confirmed after the event, Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs,Putu Aditya Antara, conveyed that this occasion was the implementation of Tri Hita Karana,i.e. a harmonious concept of the human relationship with God, surroundings, and humanity.
“This event absolutely matches Undiksha Vision, we make an effort to be excellent based on Tri Hita Karana. Actually, the social care is the implementation of it. Hopefully, this event can be sustainable so that we are able to keep learning; we can be present directly in the society thereby the knowledge which we learn at campus could be actually implemented. This is the best moment for the students, for all of us, to harmonize ourselves by sharing with others.’’, he said.
He hoped that in the future the students are able to design and develop work programs which reach society directly.
“ Living in the society is the real school, if it is being implemented at campus, I think it’s only 30-40 % (knowledge) that we can use, but in the society, we can absolutely implement it so that it can be a-100%-knowledge which we obtain” he hoped.
The Management of Ananda Seva Dharma Orphanage, Dada Sutapa really appreciated the presence of Elementary Education students; he appraised that it was entwined continuous social bonding between the students and the orphanage children, especially (because) the social care has been held for 2 years by the current management of the Student Association of Elementary Education. “Really appreciate the coming of the Elementary Education students for the second time, so I think it will be a continuous social bonding between Elementary Education and this orphanage. In the future, it will not stop here; hopefully, there will be similar events every year, and please use this orphanage for social cares, we are ready for the coming of the Elementary Education students when they want to do social cares in the future’, he concluded.(PR officer Dewa Nida)
