Singaraja– Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha, again held Community Service (P2M) with the topic of Training, Writing, and Publication of Scientific Articles for Elementary School Teachers in Kubucepatan District. This activity is a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, on Wednesday – Thursday, 27-28 July 2022.
Confirmed, the Chair of the Committee who is also the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance at FIP ??Undiksha, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that in general this activity is aimed at providing knowledge and understanding regarding writing quality articles; improve skills in writing scientific papers; and motivating school principals and teachers to always innovate in writing scientific papers, especially articles that will be published in reputable journals. It is also said that writing skills are important as a requirement for promotion for teachers.
For information, this training was held offline in two sessions, namely the first session presenting material related to writing good scientific articles, the technicalities of publishing scientific articles in reputable scientific journals, as well as an introduction to scientific journals managed by Undiksha to teachers; and the second session is a discussion session. This training received a positive response from teachers in the Kubucepatan sub-district.
Principal of SD N 1 Tajun, I Ketut Sukarapa, S.Pd., M.Pd., appreciated the training initiated by academics from the Undiksha Faculty of Education. “I really appreciate this very useful activity. “We really hope that programs like this can continue in the coming years, of course with topics that are relevant to the needs of the world of education,” he said.
